Since we've chosen to get married in sunny California, we figured we'd really do it in California. The venue is located on top a 511 ft hill at the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook, with views of the Los Angeles Basin, the Pacific Ocean, and surrounding mountains.
...with an unimpeded view that stretches from the Chino Hills and Mt. Baldy to the east, through downtown L.A. and past the Miracle Mile and the Hollywood sign, all the way to the coast, with Malibu visible at the top and Palos Verdes at the bottom — and Catalina Island in between. Read more here.
There's also the main hiking trail, 282 concrete stairs, to be exact – if you'd like to "hike" to our wedding instead! (However, fear not! There is a parking lot up top. Please keep carpooling in mind as there are a limited number of available spaces.)
